Here’s Cheela on Destination WA December 2019!
Cheela Plains Station Stay is a quiet, scenic stay with full amenities ideally located on the Nanutarra-Munjina Road between the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and Karjini National Park, 90 kms west of Paraburdoo. It is the perfect interlude amid the outback ocean and rugged ranges in the heart of the spectacular Pilbara. Offering campsites and accommodation all of which utilise shared ablutions, shower and laundry facilities, guided and unguided tours, meals and Telstra mobile coverage just to name a few.
A total of 21 single rooms and 3 double rooms are available along with 25 campsites. The grounds are situated 900 metres south of the highway and are accessible by a two-wheel drive vehicle. See their accommodation options by clicking here.
Team Cheela welcomes you to stop in for one or more nights to connect with the West Australian Pilbara and all the rugged landscape has to offer. Settle in for a magnificent sunset, and while in front of our campfire find the Southern Cross and witness the night sky come to life.
‘Cuppa & Cake’ available seasonally in the Red Plains Cafe from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. If you can’t stay the night, stop in and let us tempt you with a hot cup of tea or coffee and a selection of scrumptious homemade cakes.
There’s also a walking trail that will take you to an elevated spot from which you can experience the Pilbara landscape it all of its beauty!
