Tom Price Visitor Centre Re-Opens with a New Look

Posted on

Tom Price Visitor Centre re-opened its doors April 1 after undergoing refurbishment earlier this year. Since then, the transformed space has been busy with locals rediscovering the centre and tourists learning about Tom Price and the region alike.

Highlights of the newly opened space include ‘Flashbacks in Time” which exhibits the rich history of Tom Price, the story of Red Dog and the journey of early Iron Ore exploration through to modern day mining and how the region has evolved with it.

Tom Price Visitor Centre is an essential stop for those travelling through the Pilbara. Pick up one of the newly designed maps of Tom Price, Karijini National Park or Millstream Chichester National Park to help navigate the region, get advice on Tom Price Accommodation, book a Tom Price Mine Tour or discover the best Karijini Camping spots.

The Visitor Centre has a great range of souvenirs which are unique to the Pilbara region including Iron Ore jewellery, stunning coffee table books, framed photos of the beautiful landscapes and natural wonders and hand-made soaps, as well as traditional gifts and keepsakes such as T-shirts, hats and more.
