Auski RoadhousePosted on
If you’re heading into Karijini National Park from Port Hedland or Newman you’ll need to make sure you’ve plenty of provisions. Some of the camping sites within the park are fairly basic so it’s useful to call into the Auski Roadhouse.
Situated in the Auski Tourist Village the roadhouse supplies everything you might need when camping. You can stock up on camping gas, cooking provisions and toiletries, water, food for your barbecue as well as a range of snacks and treats. You can also enjoy a variety of hot meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The roadhouse is located between Port Hedland and Newman, not far from one of the main access points into Karijini National Park, making it a good place to stop, rest, re-stock and re-fuel before you continue your journey.
Auski Tourist Village offers a range of accommodation to suit all travelers. For information and bookings contact auskitouristvillage.com
You’ll find the Auski Roadhouse at the junction of the Great Northern Highway and Nanutarra-Munjina Road.
Once you’ve re-fuelled, refreshed and re-stocked head into Karijini National Park. Maybe start with Oxers Lookout before heading into one of the many gorges. There are easy walks around the edge of Weano Gorge, but the more adventurous should scramble deep inside and search out its rock pools.
